Nexushidden benefits for our customersAt Nexus, we’ve not always been good at blowing our own trumpet. Because our customers needs come first, we’re told that we are exceptionally flexible. Many of the things that we take for granted as part of our service may take you by surprise. So we’ll let you in on our secrets... Express service at no extra costLead times seem to get shorter each year, and we’re often asked to deliver printed bags within a few days. This is fine. Our graphics team will prepare your artwork proofs quickly. Once this is approved, stock taken from our warehouse is printed. Carriers collect from us daily for worldwide delivery, so any stock items can be despatched within five working days of your confirmed order and artwork approval. Better yet, there is no additional charge for this express service. Save on printingOur print costs normally are 30p per colour per item when printing from stock on a short lead time. However, if we print at our factory in China the cost drops to just 20p for the first colour, 10p for up to 4 colour print and then 5p colour thereaftersignificant savings on multi-colour printing. We’ll print and manufacture this way on a minimum quantity of 500 pieces and a lead time of ten weeks. So plan ahead and make big savings. Savings on lanyardsMost lanyard suppliers send their products from their factory by air freight. But because we ship thousands of bags every week by sea freight we’ll make savings by shipping lanyards along with our bags. Air freighted lanyards will be with you in four weeks, sea freight takes ten weeks. Our price list shows the savings.

Cut transport costsSometimes we deliver bags to our customers who then air freight them overseas via a courier company or freight forwarder. Air freight is hugely expensive, not to mention having a size 13 carbon footprint! But if we manufacture the bags in our Chinese factory and ship direct from Hong Kong by sea freight, your savings are usually about £2 a bag. This works with a minimum of 500 pieces, and a manufacturing time of six weeks from sample approval. Allowing for shipping and customs clearance a typical lead time is 10 weeks. Best for us to work with your show’s freight forwarder who will be more aware of event deadlines and probably have many consignments for the same venue. Environmentally friendly productsWe‘ve had many requests in recent years for such products. Although this can be difficult with textiles, to address this need we now offer two conference bags and two folders. The bags are wonderful value, nicely styled and made from degradable, recyclable nonwoven polypropylene. The folders are beautifully finished from recycled leather Loyalty discount schemeWe’ve always operated an unwritten loyalty discount scheme: goods are invoiced based on annual cumulative order quantities rather than individual orders. So if you’ve three events totalling 650 bags, you’ll benefit a price for each order based on 650 bags. Free samples You need samples quickly, without fuss and without payment, to present to your sponsoring client. Consider it done. |
